Around the year 740, St. Boniface, the evangelizer of Germany and England, downed oak that represented the God Odin and replaced it by a pine tree, the symbol of eternal love of God. This tree was decorated with apples (which for Christians represent the temptations) and candles (symbolizing the light of the world and divine grace). Being a perennial, pine is the symbol of eternal life. Moreover, their triangular shape represents the Trinity. Next we are going to share with you some Facebook Covers containing Christmas Trees.
